I did like 'tattoo girl' but the violence rattled me so I'm (probably) skipping the next 2. I've noticed that violent or frightening images from books or movies/TV will pop into my head at odd times - yet these occurrances are extremely rare in 'real life' (how often do I imagine a car or house exploding .... nothing I've ever actually seen ...) <br />*loved* Poisonwood but would have to re-read to join a discussion - it's been awhile! Enjoying a great book right now: Shadow of the Wind.Diane Lindquisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01181938931370643753noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5674313104544718575.post-42015364094518999482010-08-16T06:44:20.772-07:002010-08-16T06:44:20.772-07:00I just read "19 Minutes" and "My Si...I just read "19 Minutes" and "My Sister's Keeper". It just wasn't doing anything for me. I did read The Tender Bar, though, and loved it. Your mention of Jodi Picoult books prompted me to check a couple of hers out and I really enjoyed them.Taranoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5674313104544718575.post-29125463900312230662010-08-12T20:57:32.677-07:002010-08-12T20:57:32.677-07:00Amy is reading the 2nd Stieg Larsson book; she sai...Amy is reading the 2nd Stieg Larsson book; she said it's really good. She laughed at me, because apparently I missed a major point in the first book that's continued on in the second. I definitely had to skip a few sections of the book because they were too intense, but I thought I read the rest of it.Elizabeth Halthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01595395276757245598noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5674313104544718575.post-19073649086782929232010-08-12T20:55:33.788-07:002010-08-12T20:55:33.788-07:00Harry Potter!!!!!
