Sneaking Out
We have a hotel lock on our front door. Because when Matthew was two, he used to sneak out the front door. He quickly figured out the deadbolt. I just discovered that Jack is that same age! He slips on shoes (doesn't matter whose) and sneaks out. Like yesterday. Bathed, jammied, and ready for bed. Snuck on Matthew's rain boots (wellies, bloggers?) and out the door he went. Stinker.
I know where you are coming from. We need one of those. Because Izzy sneaks out, too. Thank heaven she has only gone out the back into our fenced in yard.
It's all so confusing! I always called them mud boots.
Then when I went online to search for them, I found 'rain boots'.
And, then I discovered that people call them 'wellies'.
(Shakes her my head) I can't keep up! ;) Although, wellies sounds kind of fun...but I can't seem to stop calling them mud boots. (Which we have plenty of, most of the year!)
I am many people. I am the loving wife to Cory (the captain). I am the proud momma to Cole, Matthew (Matty), and Jack, and now...a daughter, Clara. My kids are my life. I am a Realtor, living the dream of being able to work from home so I can raise my kids. These things are important to me: my faith, my family, my world, my friends. I believe in surrounding myself with good people. I believe in good energy and teaching my kids to love. I believe that we all want the same basic things in life, although we sometimes think the road to them is different.
I love to read, be with my kids, my quiet evenings with the captain, who never tires of me talking his ear off. That I got blessed with such an amazing husband is nothing short of a gift from God.
I am very blessed!
