We say this prayer at mealtime:
Bless us, O Lord
For these thy gifts
Which we are about to recieve
From thy bounty
Through Christ, our Lord,
Amen.
Jack says:
Bless us, O Lord
Bless us, O Lord
Bless us, O Lord
Bless us, O Lord
Bless us, O Lord
Amen.
"You find you are made up of bits and pieces of all who have ever touched your life and you are more because of them and would be less if they had not touched you..."

Now that's the perfect picture for this post!
I LOVE this photo. I know I've seen a painting before (Norman Rockwell maybe) of a little boy or girl (can't remember) kneeling next to a bed (plus a pet I think) with hands clasped in prayer. This would be even better! (Ooooooh .. you could totally turn this into a painting-looking-thing using Photoshop! If you want me to play with it and see what it looks like, just send me the file along.)
Darn cute!
I'm just chuckling. I love it! The photo's perfect.
The honer falls on you for the first recipe we tried in the book. We had your Carbonara (with Angel Hair) last night and it was good! (I'd been wanting to try it since you posted about it.)
