There is nothing cuter than a four year old on his first day of preschool. These two are so stinkin' cute. I picked Grace up this morning, and spent the 10 minute car ride listening to them talk. CUTE!
(Discussing their "homework." They had to color an elephant their favorite color.)
Matthew: My elephant is green. I colored it all by myself.
Grace: Mine is a rainbow elephant.
Matthew: Brown isn't in the rainbow.
Grace: No one helped me either!
Matthew: Do you like my fancy shirt?
Grace: It's awesome. Do you like my shirt? My mom bought it at Penney's. Like her name.
Matthew: Yeah.
Grace: Do you like my pants?
Matthew: Yes.
Grace: Do you like my shoes?
Matthew: Yes, and I like your socks! Do you like my shoes?
Grace: They're awesome.
No, kids, YOU'RE awesome. Hope you have a great first day of school!

One time in HS tricia told a girl she liked her socks. The girl replied, "thanks! I like yours tooooooo." T wasn't wearing socks.
(i might've mixed up who said what, but it still makes me laugh to think of it happening)
these two are super sweet. :)
I love listening to kid conversations. My 5 year old nephew told his mom that he didn't want to go back to Kindergarten because he already knew everything they were teaching him. Love their viewpoint! It made perfect sense to him. Why waste time at school when you can be at home playing? :)
I like how kids can color an elephant what color they want it to be, not the color it really is. :) We should be more like that in life.
They are awesome.
Oh, and "brown isn't in the rainbow". Cuz rainbow elephants are everywhere.
I can actually think of something almost as cute. Like, if you were to- oh, I don't know- blog again? Maybe.
Leanne, where are you???? Nothing for days, I can't believe it and am not quite willing to accept it....ARGH!!
Oh, wow. You girls are cruising for a bruising.
Okay, that does it. I'm reaching deep into the Hot Topics file and I'll get something going. Stand by. For a few days. KIDDING. I'll do it now. If I can. :)
