Parmesan Pasta Salad

This recipe is for the other bacon lovers out there.  I've been making it for awhile, and everywhere I take it it's a hit.  And it's simple.  (and totally unhealthy, but ignore that...it's worth it.)

1 lb pasta (I use either bowtie or mostaccioli)
1 lb bacon
1 jar Jimmy's parmesan dressing (in the refrigerator section)
1/2 c sunflower seeds
1/4 c chopped red onion
1 small jar pimentos
1 c parmesan cheese

Cook pasta as directed.  Fry and crumble bacon.  Mix all ingredients together; chill and serve.

(Note:  I can't find my recipe.  I'm not positive on the measurements of sunflower seeds and parmesan cheese.  I just throw in a couple handfuls of each.

Also, I leave the onion and pimentos out when I'm making it for "picky" company, like when I bring it to my family functions!)

It is DE-WISHIS! It's on my menu ideas list for AZ. :)

Sometimes, my extended family tries to thwart my "Onions, Onions Everywhere" world philosophy. Then, I think about it...and they just go without food.

It's better that way.

This looks AMAZING. Thanks!

Seriously. Stop it. I'm trying to lose my baby weight. Sheesh.

I actually ate leftover rhubarb crunch for breakfast today. I'm all about the health.

I know, Mindi, I should stop. But then I bring something somewhere, and this is such an easy way to share the recipe! (I'll take a break and talk about something else soon, though, I promise...)

You had me at Parmesan. Mentioning bacon didn't hurt, either. Anyway, I'm making it right now. Since I feel guilty about serving this to my family, I'm adding peas and carrots and tomatoes. Sorry if that ruins the spirit of it. But, I can't wait to try it! I'll let you know!
