Seeking Vacation Suggestions

Cory and I are considering a winter vacation with the kids in January or February. I'd like to go to Florida because we get a) planeride b) Disney and c) the ocean. We spent one night this summer with out kids in a hotel room and have no desire to do that again. This time I want bedroom doors that close so the kids (and their parents) sleep well! Happy kids = fun days, right? In fact, we're now considering renting a vacation condo. It's overwhelming to begin that process, so I thought I'd reach out to my network. Chances are there is someone out there who has a great suggestion to help us make that decision. Thanks in advance for your input!

Last winter we went to Florida. We never made it ti Disney but ended up going to Sea World twice because we had so much fun there. We also went to an alligator farm and the ocean(which was very cold!).

I haven't been to Florida, and don't have a family to take on a trip but I CAN recommend someone who would help you. Jim and I have used Geo for our trips, and it's always worked out great:) How fun, hope it works out for you!

Totally agree with Katie. Gotta go with Geo. She knows her stuff.

I would recommend using VRBO.com. They are all owned by the individuals, and I have never ran into any problems with renting from the people directly.

The problem I'm having with VRBO is it's so overwhelming! They're separated by city, and of course I don't know where everything is - I wish it was on a map! It's hard to just dig into that website IMO. But thank you for that suggestion (and all the others; I'll def call Geo!)...XOXO

Hello lovely,
We used to own a timeshare at High Point World Resort in Kissimmee(we have since sold it to friends) and we took the kids there quite often when they were growing up. It is centrally located, only 1/4 mile from the entrance of Disneyworld and the units are either apartments or 2-story townhouses with full kitchens which are great for having bfast before you head out for the day. The best part is that all the units form a courtyard and there is a great playground in the center of the courtyard next to the pool and bbqs. I would highly recommend it for your family. Write when you can. Love, Cela
