We went to the Mall of America today. For those of you not familiar, it's right near the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport. We were turning onto 24th Avenue when a large jet was speeding by on its way to land at the airport. Both of my boys screamed in excitement at the exact same moment she screamed, "LOOK! IKEA!"

It's a gender thing.

Yes, we go to Ikea more often than the Mall of America... cheap food and free childcare... AND... the kids love it!

I remember bringing Katie and Christina to the airport to fly to Tim and Trista's wedding right after 9/11. Jodi who was 3 1/2 said when she saw an airplane flying low overhead, "is that the hitting kind airplane?"
